Today was a sad day indeed. George A. Romero passed away. I can say with quite a bit of happiness that I passed many an hour watching Romero’s movies starting with the black and white Night of the Living Dead which scared the crap out of me at the age of 10. His Zombie movies made the genre possible, we’d not have The Walking Dead without his pioneering vision.
