On a November afternoon a friend of mine called me and asked if we could do some shooting. My friend was wanting to do a shoot that would be for her a way of breaking a mold, of going beyond previous shoots. She wanted the photos to be up close, fun and intimate.
Our shoot started out at an abandoned drive way that was over grown enough to allow us to shoot in almost in plain sight but still hidden.
We talked as we shot of many things, just idle chat, its purpose to lull us both into a state where she could come out and I became an instrument to record.
The light seemed to grow in richness as she spun, the sun dancing in her hair, across her skin. The wind played softly in accompaniment and the world moved on without our notice.
the wind’s murmur was light but her laugh, charmed the very trees.
